The last Pendragon

If you're looking for good historical fiction, this isn't it. Woodbury takes some sparse history of Cadwaladr ap Cadwallon and weaves a fantasy world making Cadwaladr into a non-human fairy Prince subject to the Gods and demons who still roam Wales.

I would give this book a rating of meh. A little far out there at times.

I came to this story expecting historical fiction, and was taken aback when the plot twisted into the supernatural. While I was not looking for fantasy, I continued to read it to the end.
